The greenhouse sits in a well-loved productive garden. I wanted the design to feel calm and relaxed. It’s a place to propagate, grow seeds and also a place to sit amongst the plants.

You’ll find a variety of things growing: tomatoes, cucamelons, chillies, colocasia as well as scented pelargoniums and succulents.

I chose a colour which has an industrial feel to match the strong details inside the greenhouse. The tiles are ones I’d seen and loved at Soho House, Berlin and made to make you smile when you open the door.
