My background - Psychology to Garden Design
My name is Camellia Taylor and I’m a garden and landscape designer, passionate about creating beautiful, sustainable and resilient outdoor spaces for residential, commercial and community focused projects.
My previous career was in psychology and I have always felt passionate about the benefits of nature on the human condition. My passion for garden design stemmed from my love of psychology, and my style focuses on naturalistic planting which is sympathetic to the surrounding landscapes. I love connecting people to their gardens and the local environment.
Hello from The Garden Taylor
I studied garden design at the London College of Garden Design, based at Kew Gardens, and graduated with distinction in 2020. I exhibited atBelvoir Castle Flower Show in 2022 and won the Professional’s ChoiceAward. I most recently exhibited at RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2023 and was awarded a Silver Gilt medal.
As well as growing relationships with local, talented landscape partners and independent botanical nurseries, my understanding of plants, space and function enables me to create beautiful and sympathetic gardens for every client.
