A Garden for all the family in Tunbridge Wells
The Brief - Connections
The brief of this design was to develop a space that was sympathetic to individual family requirements whilst bringing them together, creating areas for everyone to be able to relax, play and entertain.
The Design
This garden looks onto the surrounding countryside which I wanted to frame and incorporate within the design. The design includes a natural children’s play space created within a meadow to provide a feeling of the boundaries blending with the wider landscape. A series of unique rooms were created to provide individualised areas for each family member.
Child Development
The natural play area has been designed to grow with the children, providing a space for exploration and adventure which will evolve over time to provide continued interest for the children as they (and the garden) grow.
Edibles
A space close to the house has been created for edibles. These beds are filled with herbs and medicinal flowers.
